Dear Parents and Kiddos,

Hello everyone! I’m so impressed with how everyone is doing. The way school looks right now is so different. I have had a great time reading one on one with everyone. My teacher heart is so full, I love seeing their little faces and hearing their reading improve.

Moving forward into May, our packet #3 work will be filled with mini books for my kinder friends and reading fluency passages for first thru fourth grade. Each week I plan to continue on having “Kinder Time” to read one of our mini books together as a group. First thru fourth grade, we are going to keep reading our fluency passages during our one on one time. Parents, keep an eye on your email and our Facebook private group page for weekly info on our meeting times and to sign up for one on one reading.

If you haven't already done so, please encourage your kiddos to check out Boom Cards. On the front of Packet #2 was a little rectangle piece of paper with their sign in info. Boom Cards, are a computer program/app that they can use on a computer, ipad or phone. Basically, the site is a game that the kiddos can work on their reading, grammar and language skills.

If you need anything at all, please contact me through our fb group page, email me: hillary.hagemeyer@leonagroup.com or call the school at 419-868-9885.

Miss you all,
Mrs. Hagemeyer
